My story…

I was working as a project manager for 13 years, on the road all the time, commuting to work for at least 2 hours a day, or on a business trip, sometimes for a whole week. It became very stressful and overwhelming. And it was robbing me of my time with my family.

At some point I really had enough of my job, I couldn’t stand it anymore.

I was still providing for my family, but I was having a hard time just waking up, going to work, repeating everything day by day… With no motivation!

I was feeling like I’m drowning, like everything is coming down on me. My work was just piling up, never ending.

I was afraid I was gonna end up losing connection with my family, with my wife and my kids, just becoming a stranger to them, becoming an angry and miserable man when I grow old. It was scary and frightening!

My kids were crying when I was leaving for a business trip and I missed many important events in their lives… I still remember the look on my son’s face when I said I won’t be there for his first performance in school. His disappointment, his sad look…

That day I decided I will never ever allow that to happen again. I knew there must be a way out, I just didn’t know exactly what and where it is.

I just knew if I don’t do anything about that I’m gonna have regrets later down the road.
